Nutrition Seminar: Fueling for performance and recovery

  • The Green Room 23 Freeman Loop 'Leighton Precinct' North Fremantle Australia (map)

Learn how to fuel your body for performance and recovery, modified for the nutritional requirements associated with the journey through perimenopause, menopause, and beyond.

Nutritionist Mel Raybould will provide femmes with information on how to fuel their body for performance and recovery, as well as the important role food plays in supporting training and race-day demands. Mel will also discuss hot topics such as protein (how much is enough), carbohydrate choices, and what to look for in a hydration mix. The seminar is scheduled to allow you time to practice your fueling strategy in the lead-up to big events like Tour of Margaret River and Cape to Cape later in the year. It will be a great chance to be together to relax and learn while enjoying some light refreshments at the beautiful Green Room venue in North Fremantle.
