A weekend festival of fun, friendly, community-based gravel at Jalbarragup (near Nannup), and an ideal lead-in to SeVen.

Supporting women, welcoming all.

5-6 April 2025

4Five+ Athlete Collective have designed this event with female riders in mind. We want to send a clear message that there is space for female riders on the start line. This year the Big Tiger Race will feature a separate start time for female racers, shining the spotlight on women’s racing, and helping to create a safe space for women new to gravel racing.

Our dream is to see women and girls make up half the entries, because we are #halftheworld.

With the field capped at 200 each day, competition for a spot will be hot!

The Cycling

Racing, riding, learning

Tiger Tracks Gravel is a two-day event, with options to pick & mix components. For racers, the glory is focused on the Uber Tiger which combines the Tiger Time Trial and Big Tiger Race.

  • Saturday:

    • Gravel Time Trial Race 18km (U17 & J19 15km)

    • Gravel Skills Session & Tiger Trek Social Ride 18km

  • Sunday:

    • Big Tiger Race 80km

    • Little Tiger Junior Race 45km (U17 & J19 only)

    • Little Tiger Challenge 45km

    • Tiny Tiger Social Ride 30km

  • Tiger Tracks Gravel Uber Tiger - fastest combined average speed of Saturday + Sunday races

The Course

We’ve put Jalbarragup Rd in the sin bin for 2025 (hooray!)

The course terrain is rolling, rather than hilly, and is generally on the lower end of the technical spectrum. The routes follow Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attraction roads and tracks, passing through the Wiltshire-Butler National Park and McCorkhill State Forest. The routes are lined by native jarrah, marri and banksia woodland, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for emus and kangaroos! Depending on the weather and when the roads last saw the Shire grader, they could be smooth, corrugated, sandy, or muddy - but they will definitely be 100% gravel.

GPX & Notes for 2025 course are available here. Strava links below:

The Community

The Event Hub is at the Darradup Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade Shed in Jalbarragup, 20km from Nannup. This is a small remote rural community: the facilities will be basic, but the welcome will be warm. There will be water, ice and food available. The Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade will be directing the parking and running a gourmet sausage sizzle and selling drinks, so be sure to bring your cash to support these community fundraising efforts.

On Sunday we encourage riders to stay and socialize and watch the presentations .

Be aware!

  • There is only Telstra network coverage in the area

  • Bring cash for parking, sausage sizzle, coffee etc

Suggested travel routes and parking directions are included in the Rider Guide. Don’t come via Jalbarragup Rd unless you fancy 16km of corrugations.
