  • Provide learning opportunities and resources relating to the performance and health of female athletes

  • Identify and share research and information to help athletes, coaches and clinicians make evidence-informed decisions around training and competing

Develop a social network to have fun, build self-esteem and create connections between members

  • Social rides - One per month, open to all riding members

  • Mentoring & support - Opportunities to informally discuss health & training issues

Create pathways to participation in racing & demonstrate that a competitive life is achievable regardless of age

  • Group rides - Our experienced volunteer ride leaders will provide support, encouragement and mentoring to help you on your cycling journey. At this time 4F do not offer coaching services. If you are seeking professional advice or training, please refer to our LinkedIn group where our members provide details of the professional services they provide.

  • Training groups – all disciplines, all levels. Facilitate coaching and skills sessions by accredited coaches as required, and leveraging evidence-based research for adapted training.

  • Racing - Opportunities to race both as an individual and as part of a team depending on event type, supported by 4F

  • Logistics support for events - Team manager, support crew, administration.

A generation of women who refuse to slow down, challenging prejudices around ageing & performance

  • Focus on finding solutions to issues impacting female athletes as they move through perimenopause & beyond

  • Address cultural barriers facing older female athletes

  • Encourage women to lead 4F initiatives – including female researchers, scientists, coaches, mentors, and health practitioners
